photo guest book

i think guest books are generally lame. nobody really writes anything special. and they look boring. and they say "guest book" on the front. and does any couple really go back & look at them fondly years later? i think not. so years ago i decided i would not have a guest book at my theoretical wedding.

then last year i saw an idea on a blog [somewhere!] to create a collage/scrapbook guest book with pictures, ticket stubs, notes, etc. i thought that was a super rad idea & decided to tuck it away in the back of my mind.

THEN we got engaged on may 1st and not even a week later i got a coupon @ target for a FREE shutterfly photo book. i took pics of old movie tickets, the directions i wrote the 1st time i drove to FH's house, and programs from a play we went to together. i spent hours agonizing over the design and layout of the photo book. i rearranged a million times. and finally i ordered it and sent it to get printed.
it turned out AWESOME!!! i'm not posting a pic here b/c i want some things to be a surprise.
