we had what is possibly the most awesome shower in the history of wedding showers. (seriously, anyone i told about our shower responded the same way: "what?! that sounds so much better than all the showers i've been to!!")my maid of honor/best friend did all the planning and kept it perfectly secret. she chose a beautiful park in the area and rented a pavilion. people brought volleyball supplies and softball gloves. our friends grilled tons of hot dogs/ burgers. we opened gifts while people were eating/chatting so they didn't have to stare at us the entire time. my FH was an absolute dear & made the day so so fun!
ALL my bridesmaids came. my mom was here. i got to hand-pick the flowers from a farm nearby and help arrange them in jars for the tables.
my friend lynz made a beautiful banner that we can also use at our reception (i had totally wanted to have 1 but decided i did not have the time to make it!! now i don't have to!!)at the end, my bridesmaids & i got dressed up to head dowtown for my bachelorette party. which will be featured in the next post!
