serving dinner/ Qdoba

i was just on the phone w/ my college roommate and she told me her favorite part of our wedding was that we served dinner to our guests. as she said, "that was brilliant!"

my husband gets ALL the credit for that idea. i basically said i didn't want to hug everyone in a receiving line. he was the one who suggested we serve our guests dinner so we could greet everyone but not have to hug them. plus, serving others= what we're all about.

it turned out GREAT! i was starving by the end, but i'm so so glad we did it. i cant wait to get photos of the actual process from our photographer, but in the meantime, here are a few shots other people took:


i'm also incredibly thrilled that we had Qdoba cater. it cost less than 10 dollars per person. the food was delicious. the guy who delivered it stayed around to help make sure we knew where everything was and that we had enough. so awesome! i HIGHLY recommend Qdoba for any catered event, but especially for a fun, people-based wedding. (PLUS if you bring back all the serving dishes, you get five free coupons for a free entree!!)
